Welcome
Welcome to the official website of the Vietnamese Society in Oxford (VOX)!
The Vietnamese Society in Oxford (VOX) was founded in 2002 and has taken an active part
in university life ever since. With around 30 members we are one of the smaller societies in
Oxford creating a familial atmosphere amongst members. Despite our smaller size we host
many events each term promoting Vietnamese culture at Oxford University. Major events we
are looking forward to this year include the Asian Food Festival, Tet 2011, our Valentines
secret, and our VOX Open Day. To all events we welcome students from all backgrounds
regardless whether they are Vietnamese or not.
Furthermore, our society possesses an excellent alumni network connecting former members
with current members. Our alumni network hosts various events across the globe. Please get
in touch with us to join the network.
The society is currently run by Oxford University students constituting to the executive
committee. The current committee consists of Secretary (Trang Duong), Treasurer (Sean
Pham), Vice-President (Mac Duy Hai) and President (Phuc Nguyen).
In case you have any queries please do not hesitate to get in touch with us! We look forward to hear from you.
